Text Message (SMS) Program Terms

Whittenburg Land Surveying, LLC offers SMS text updates so customers can follow the progress of their land‑survey project. This page explains the program and how consent is collected.
How you sign up (consent)
When you request a survey quote, you provide your phone number and may choose text as your preferred way to hear from us. When you accept your proposal, you check a box explicitly agreeing to receive project text messages at that number. We keep a record of that agreement (name, date, and the number) for each project. We never add a number to this program without that opt‑in.
What we send
- A welcome message with your assigned project number and a private link to track status.
- Updates as phases of your survey are completed (for example, “Field Survey is complete”).
- Replies to questions you send us about your own project.
These are one‑to‑one, account‑related messages about your project. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
Message frequency & cost
Message frequency varies by project — typically a handful of messages over the life of a job. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out & help
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 1.931.526.9000. Opting out of texts won’t affect your survey work — we’ll simply reach you another way.
Privacy
We use your phone number only to communicate about your project. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.
